So we had our good friends Mike and Mon stay on the weekend. Mon is pregnant at the moment and it made me think about my pregnancy with Kaeden and in those late weeks what I wouldn’t have been without. So here are my top things
1. Big comfy blue chair (having somewhere comfy to sit that doubled as a leaning post during those strong braxton hicks)
2. Triangle pillow (so useful for sleeping wrapped around. Hugs the tummy and gives your upper body some support)
3. Swiss ball (back relief need I say more?)
4. Sudoku puzzle book
5. Video Ezy subscription
6. Lemon Tree (lemon squeezed into distilled water….a must to keep from going insane from glass after glass of water)
7. CSI, CSI Miami, CSI New York, Bones…etc etc (Lots of mindless TV to watch when the brain just doesn’t want to think for itself after a night of waking and peeing)
8. David Eddings and Isobelle Carmody books (pages and pages of reading in 2 easy to read series)
9. Pregnancy pants (Joey in Friends and Comic Book Guy in the Simpson’s are right….no great comfort than comfy pregnancy pants!!)
10. LAPTOP (For contact, for fun and for numerous places to get answers to all those silly questions and worries you have in those last days but feel a bit silly asking a real person!!)

So I am trying to get back into using my Power Animals Oracle Cards. Picking one a day to meditate on and take a lesson from. Today’s was the Horse. (As you can see by the last post). I have a set by Steven D. Farmer, Ph.D. and his book. They are very insightful.
My biggest thing is I need to be open to all the animals. I know there are some times that I pick an animal and I’m just not into it because of personal feelings about that animal. I am I guess a bit “ego” and they aren’t good enough to be travelling with me…even if its just for the day.
I was thinking about more long term giudes/companions and thinking about my top 10 I would want so here is my top 10 desired Spirit Animals -

1. Wolf
2. Dragon
3. Raven
4. Hawk
5. Black Panther
6. Coyote
7. Unicorn
8. Lion
9. Scorpion
10. Serpent
